All X duplications with molecularly mapped breakpoints are listed here. We have two basic types of molecularly defined X chromosome duplications: one set consists of nested sets of X segments carried by the Y chromosome and the other set consists of transgenes carrying X segments inserted onto autosomes. You should consider the size of the duplicated segment and the chromosome that carries the duplicated segment in designing crosses.
