The Minos transposable element system and the Mi{ET1} construct are described in Metaxakis et al., 2005.
EGFP is the only scoreable marker carried by Mi{ET1}. The construct is not marked with white, yellow, rosy or any other visible marker.
The insertion lines were generated by the Gene Disruption Project and are otherwise unpublished.
The Mi{ET1} insertions were generated in the same genetic background as the DrosDel Project insertions and deletions. DrosDel starter stocks can be used to manipulate these Minos stocks while retaining the isogenic background.

Some restrictions apply to the use of the Minos transposable element system. Commercial researchers must obtain a use license from Minos BioSystems Ltd. to work with these stocks.
